The Kat Harding Online Yoga & Wellness Studio is an online space dedicated to expanding on the physicality of YOUR yoga practice and integrating it with philosophy for mindset and emotional wellbeing in life.

Come as you are, literally, in PJ’s, for 5 minutes or for 60, feel EMPOWERED to create a practice wherever and whenever you can, and INCREASE your understanding on ‘why’ you are doing what you are doing.

This is a space for you to move, breathe, meditate, connect and drive your own expansion one moment, one practice at a time.

Download your app, take your practices in the car, on public transport, on holidays and for long walks. Whether you’re practicing at home on a yoga mat or on the go - there are practices you can take with you in every moment in life. There are gentle flows for beginners, strong and long flows for those who want more and everything in between for all bodies and people to benefit.

I believe in ensuring that my students know the why, and the greater picture of how practice fits into life and living. As a beginner you’ll get access to gentle practices, floor based flows, asana explorations to learn about common postures you might practice and how you can make them your own.

Practices for every season of life.

Want to move your physical body? Try a vinyasa or hatha flow. Want a little more stillness and space? Choose a meditation, nidra or yin yoga. School holidays? Try some kids yoga classes. Pregnant or post partum? Choose a strengthening, stabilising pre or post natal flow. Injury? Try a no hands flow, a gentle stretch or a philosophy discussion to learn.

There truly is something for EVERYONE in here.

    Each practices has been created as an opportunity for you to explore, philosophy in action, meditation in movement.

    With physical practices that will open your body, that are accompanied by explanations to remind you of what the physical interacts with in the mental and emotional body, you will get more out of this than just feeling more flexible.

  • No one ran a marathon without first trying to run? So why would yoga be any different?

    With over 140 practices there are ample opportunities for you to try different forms of yoga, different stretches, lengths of time and maybe even some meditation.

    Most importantly, you have a huge range of options to start, because ultimately that’s what you want to do right?!

    The practices you try won’t always be easy, but they will always be accessible, with options always given within classes so you can meet yoga where YOU are at (not the other way around).

    All classes can be filtered by beginner, soft, strong, short, long & more- you choose what you need and what you’re inspired by on any given day and let’s start together!

  • As a keen information seeker, I like to know WHY I’m doing what I’m doing. Whether it’s understanding how a Yin Yoga practice differs from a restorative, or who a particular deity is and why there is a posture named after it, the more I know the more I can embody that experience within my life, not just on a yoga mat.

    Whilst there’s no right or wrong when it comes to implementing yoga philosophy into daily life, there is inspiration and learning that can be curated through more than just your physical practice.

    Learning how to do Childs pose or downward facing dog may help you to feel more comfortable in your physical body, but it won’t necessarily change how you interact with others or the world during challenging times.

    This space will allow you to lean into philosophy and how you can bring what you experience on your mat (bliss, openness, lightness, changing energy) into daily life.

    Listen to talks on the Yamas & Niyamas, find out about Ganesha and practice the Ganesha Mudra in a hatha practice, learn of the love story of Shiva and the lessons learnt from the warrior.

    All of this is available for you to learn, to practice and to get context on why you’re showing up to your yoga practice.

  • The number one reason why doctors and physiotherapists tell people to start yoga: flexibility.

    Whilst they’re most likely looking at it from a physical perspective, I bet through practicing yoga you will find it in your mind and in life too.

    With practices that include mobility, clear and concise explanations on where and why you might experience a physical stretch in your body and how you can get the most ‘flexible’ in body and mind, we have something for you!

  • As a yoga teacher that has completed hundreds of hours of training beyond my initial 200hour training, and a student who will forever want to be inspired and learn more about these expansive practices and tools, I know that having somewhere at the click of a button that can guide you and share the ‘why’s’ and ‘what’s’ is the easiest way to build knowledge and embodiment.

    You may want to know more, but don’t want to do a teacher training. Expect short and easy to understand videos and tutorials in here so you can get that without the expensive.

    You might be a teacher and want some regular inspiration for your class plans, particularly when integrating theming and philosophy. Expect all of these practices to integrate philosophy, anatomy knowledge and changing themes.

    You might be a yoga practitioner of many years wanting some variety on your own self-led practice. In here you can add an extra 5-30 minutes of being guided to what you already do, or simply open a practice and let someone else tell you what to do.

  • One of the most popular requested amount of time for practices is between 20-30 minutes in this studio. With practices that range from 5 minutes (take a few slow breaths, guided to take your mind out of the equation) to 60+ minutes, there is something for all time constraints and all needs in here.

    This means: there’s no excuse to not open your app, to not listen to a 20/30 minute philosophy discussion and take it with you on your walk or your way to work.

    Complete a yoga nidra as you go to bed after your night shift to help switch off.

    Add an 8 minute kids yoga practice during the school holidays that everyone can enjoy even amongst the mayhem.

    This studio is built for real people, living real life. Not as an escape from it.
